49.00.FF Error

Symptoms

Printer hangs after submitting a certain type of a PDF file. The job does not get printed and the printer control panel displays:

If you press the OK button on the printer it reports the 49.00.FF Error:

Workaround

1) Delete the print job from the printer queue on your computer.

2) Turn the printer OFF. Wait 10 seconds. Turn the printer back ON.

3) Use Acrobat Reader for printing.

4) In the print dialog click on the Advanced button.

5) Select the Print as Image option.

6) Print your file.
