We look forward to seeing you there! - 1/5: There will be 2 optional recitation sessions for CS 246 this year. They will review basic material on Probability and Linear Algebra that you should have seen in prior coursework. The respective recitations will be held on Friday, January 10, 4:15-5:30pm (Probability), and Monday, January 13, 4:15-5:30pm (Linear Algebra) in Gates B03.

- 1/7: The Gradiance quiz on MapReduce has been released. Due 1/10 at 23:59.
- 1/8: Ashley's office hours on 1/15 will be from 4:15-6:15pm.
- 1/9: Homework 1 has been released. Due on 1/23 at 9:30 AM (max 1 late period allowed).
- 1/10: We're posting a different version of Homework 0 with another way of creating an Eclipse project.
- 1/7: The Gradiance quiz on Association Rules has been released. Due 1/17 at 23:59.
- 1/13: Ashwin's OH are being permanently moved to Tuesday from 12-2pm in Gates 24B.
- 1/20: Neeraj's OH will be held in the basement of Huang on 1/20 due to the univerity holiday. They'll still be from 11am-1pm.

- 3/7: Sammy's office hours for week 10 will be held on Monday, March 10, from 6-8pm in Gates B21.
- 3/7: The last Gradiance quiz on Computational Advertising has been released. Due 3/14 at 23:59.
- 3/7: The Alternate Final Exam will be held 3/14 from 7:00-10:00pm in Cubberly Auditorium. If you'd like to take the exam then, just show up!
- 3/7: The Final Exam will be held on 3/17 from 12:15-3:15pm. It will be held in the 2 following rooms based on the first letter of your last name: NVidia Aud (A-M), and Gates B01 (N-Z). See http://campus-map.stanford.edu for directions.
- 3/9: SCPD students can take exam either at Stanford or take it through the exam proctor and return scanned exam to cs246.mmds@gmail.com by Tuesday, March 18, at 11:59pm Pacific time.
SCPD students can take the exam anytime during the week. The exam proctor will receive the exam from SCPD. - 3/9: There will be an information session for students interested in taking CS 341 on Tuesday, March 18th, in Gates 104 from 7-8:15 pm.
