At the end of the installation it will ask you for your CSID/SUNetID. Ignore that by pressing Cancel.  </para></section><section><title>#3</title><para>Download the OpenAFS client from <ulink url="http://www.openafs.org/dl/openafs/1.6.6/macos-10.9/OpenAFS-1.6.6-Mavericks.dmg">OpenAFS.org</ulink> or from here:  <ulink url="http://snap.stanford.edu/moin/KerberosMac/moin/KerberosMac?action=AttachFile&amp;do=get&amp;target=OpenAFS-1.6.6-Mavericks.dmg">OpenAFS-1.6.6-Mavericks.dmg</ulink>. </para></section><section><title>#4</title><para>Go to <emphasis role="strong">System Preferences</emphasis>, <emphasis role="strong">Security &amp; Privacy</emphasis>. Click the lock on the bottom left of the window to enable making changes. Change the selection of <emphasis role="strong">Allow apps downloaded from</emphasis> to <emphasis role="strong">Anywhere</emphasis>. </para></section><section><title>#5</title><para>Install the OpenAFS client from the downloaded .dmg file. During the installation process type in the following for <emphasis role="strong">name of your local cell</emphasis>: </para><screen><![CDATA[cs.stanford.edu]]></screen><para>And the following for the local cell alias: </para><screen><![CDATA[cs]]></screen></section><section><title>#6</title><para>You may now revert the security changes from #4: Go to <emphasis role="strong">System Preferences</emphasis>, <emphasis role="strong">Security &amp; Privacy</emphasis>. Click the lock on the bottom left of the window to enable making changes. Change the selection of <emphasis role="strong">Allow apps downloaded from</emphasis> to <emphasis role="strong">Mac App Store and identified developers</emphasis>. </para></section><section><title>#7</title><para>Restart the computer. </para></section><section><title>#8</title><para>Open the <emphasis role="strong">Kerberos Commander</emphasis>. Enter your username, make sure to spell out the domain name (CS.STANFORD.EDU) in capital letters, e.g. </para><screen><![CDATA[jsmith@CS.STANFORD.EDU]]></screen><para>Enter your password too.
